Being a naturally limited resource, 925 Sterling silver is considered a precious metal - which sets it apart from commonly used materials such as brass, copper and zinc. Silver is a very durable material which lasts a lifetime (if not several). Due to its natural qualities, Sterling silver can be remelted, repolished or replated at any time. Thus, your Julia Bartsch jewellery piece will never lose its value and appeal. In order to preserve the material’s natural beauty and to minimise the brand’s ecological footprint, no silver jewellery items of the collection are additionally rhodium-plated. Each piece of silver jewellery is marked with 2 hallmarks - the brand’s logo and the maker’s mark.
jewellery care:
To keep your silver jewellery piece in best condition, store it away in your Julia Bartsch jewellery box or travel pouch whenever not wearing it. Store each piece of jewellery separately to avoid surface scratches. Always take off your jewellery before going to bed in order to avoid wear and tear. As silver naturally oxidises when exposed to air, moisture and skin contact, take off your jewellery before exercising. If possible, avoid contact with water, body lotions, hairspray and perfume. To prevent tarnishing, use the enclosed polishing cloth to gently wipe silver jewellery after wearing as the accumulation of body oils, cosmetics and grime can cause the jewellery piece to lose its shine. In case of heavy oxidisation, polish the affected areas using a silver cleaning solution.
