Révélations
May 2025 - Grand Palais, Paris

In May 2025, Julia Bartsch participated in Révélations, the international biennial dedicated to fine craft and contemporary creation, held at the Grand Palais in Paris. As part of her residency at Ateliers de Paris (2023–2025), she was selected among nine designers and artisans to represent the institution's savoir-faire on a shared exhibition stand.

For this occasion, Julia presented The Gemstone Edition, a collection of fifteen unique silver rings set with gemstones. This collection was the first time gemstones were introduced into Julia’s work, marking a new chapter in her practice.

Participation in Révélations represented an important step in the recognition of Julia's work, introducing her practice to a wider audience of clients, collectors and craft professionals.

The Sculptural Edition
November 2024 - Galerie Le petit prieure, Paris

With The Sculptural Edition, Julia Bartsch introduced her first numbered series of one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces. This series was made out of eleven unique silver rings whose sculptural forms were developed around the central motif of the fold.

Conceived as a solo exhibition, the presentation created a dialogue between tangible objects and photographic documentation. Alongside the silver rings, visitors discovered a selection of artistic photographs and close-up studies of the human body that served as a source of inspiration throughout the creative process.

A pivotal moment for the atelier, The Sculptural Edition marked Julia's first exploration of numbered collector pieces and one-of-a-kind creations. It laid the base for future numbered collections, leading to the launch of The Gemstone Edition in 2025 and The Sapphire Edition in 2026, evolving the atelier towards a more precious and collectible direction.

Launch of the Jewellery Line
September 2021 - Galerie Variation, Paris

The launch at Galerie Variation in September 2021 marked the beginning of Julia Bartsch's jewellery practice. Presented in Paris's 18th arrondissement, the exhibition brought together ten handcrafted pieces handcrafted in Paris from precious metals.

Shared with friends, early supporters, and future clients, the evening brought together for the first time a community around Julia's work and laid the foundations of her jewellery line.
