How to determine your ring size?

Ring Size Conversion

All Julia Bartsch jewellery is crafted according to European sizing standards. Please use the conversion chart below to identify your corresponding ring size.

Before Measuring

Finger size naturally changes throughout the day and can be influenced by temperature and activity. For the most accurate measurement, it is recommended to determine your ring size towards the end of the day, when your fingers are naturally at their largest. Avoid measuring immediately after exercise, after a hot shower, during significant temperature changes or when your hands are particularly cold or warm, as these conditions may affect the accuracy of the measurement.

How a Ring Should Fit

A ring should slide comfortably over the knuckle with slight resistance and feel secure once in place without causing discomfort. Wider rings generally fit more snugly than narrow bands. If your measurement falls between two sizes, the larger size is generally recommended, particularly for wider or more sculptural rings.

Custom ring sizes

As every piece is handcrafted individually in the Paris atelier, rings can be produced in half sizes as well as custom sizes beyond the standard size chart. Whether you require an extra small, extra large or half size, each piece can be made to your exact requirements. Please contact info@juliabartsch.com before placing your order to discuss your preferred size.

Resizing

Many rings can be resized after purchase. Whether resizing is possible depends on the design and the complexity of the stone setting. Rings featuring gemstones may require the stone to be removed and reset before resizing, which may increase the cost of the service. In certain cases, resizing may not be technically possible.

Resizing is offered as a paid service. Please get in touch for an individual assessment and quotation.
