What defines the atelier

One of a Kind

Jewellery should be as individual as the people who wear it. Every piece is therefore created only once and carries its own form and character, allowing collectors to acquire an object that will never exist in exactly the same way again. It is this individuality that creates a lasting connection between the object and its wearer.

Beyond the atelier

For Julia, the creative process is only complete once a piece has found its wearer. Although every object is sculpted and crafted in the atelier, it only comes to life through the person who chooses to wear it. Every numbered unique piece is therefore archived together with the name of its collector, recognising each wearer as the final chapter in the story of the jewellery piece.

Handmade

Every piece is sculpted entirely by hand in the atelier. Julia deliberately chooses not to use digital modelling or 3D printing, believing that the hand remains her most valuable creative tool. The small variations left by the making process become part of each object's identity.

Precious Materials

Julia's jewellery is meant to become a companion for life rather than a product to be replaced. Silver, gold and natural gemstones are therefore chosen not only for their beauty, but also for their lasting qualities and because they honour the time and craftsmanship invested in every piece.

Progressive Design

Traditional jewellery techniques form the foundation of Julia's work, but they are challenged and reinterpreted through a contemporary sculptural design aesthetic. Whether through her signature folds or unconventional stone settings, Julia seeks to develop a progressive approach to jewellery design.

Experimentation

Wax is not simply a modelling material but Julia's medium for research and experimentation. Every new collection begins through testing and pushing the material beyond its expected behaviour. Experimentation remains an essential part of the atelier's creative process, as it is during these moments that initial ideas become something tangible.

Local Craftsmanship

Although every piece is designed, sculpted and finished by Julia herself, certain specialised steps such as casting, engraving and stone setting are carried out by artisan partners in Paris. Working with small family-run workshops allows every step of the fabrication to remain local and human.

Numbered Editions

Collections are intentionally released in very small numbered editions. Each edition reflects a particular moment in the evolution of the atelier and it allows collectors to acquire not only a jewellery piece but also a fragment of its creative journey.

Transmission

As part of her practice, Julia regularly welcomes assistants and interns into the atelier. Passing on techniques and encouraging curiosity are an essential part of keeping artisanal knowledge alive. In 2025, her atelier was recognised by the City of Paris through the Prix de Savoir-faire en Transmission.
