Being the only piece with an open structure, this ring inhabits a singular place within this series. As the ring unfolds itself, skin shines through the opening and light illuminates the deep blue 0,95ct natural sapphire. It seemingly floats, being concealed only by two sides. This reveals the character which the sapphire was specially selected for: the rich inner landscape that documents its natural formation.

Being part of a numbered series of 11 one-of-a-kind pieces, each ring holds a natural sapphire selected individually for its character, unique inclusions and internal depth rather than flawless perfection. Hand sculpted in wax and cast into solid silver using the lost-wax technique, each ring emerges through a complex folded structure impossible to be molded or reproduced. Subtle traces from the artisanal process have been intentionally preserved as visible marks of the hand that crafted the piece.
